Founded in England by Alec McLoughlin, Cicada Vera started with a simple idea: luxury should have more personality.
I wanted clothing with the quality, fit and attention to detail of the brands I admired, but with more character. That idea became Cicada Vera.
The brand draws inspiration from the things I’ve always loved — sport, travel and the nostalgia that surrounds them. Iconic sporting moments, remarkable places and memories that feel almost lost in time all shape the world of Cicada Vera.
From the artwork and fabrics to the fit and finish of every piece, the details matter. The aim is simple: to create clothing that feels considered and beautifully made, without losing the boldness that made me want to start the brand in the first place.
